Brooklands Boating Club is well-established and has operated successfully on the Wairoa River since the 1970’s. Just a 30 minute drive from central Auckland, ideally located near the mouth of Clevedon’s Wairoa River, you will be cruising the Hauraki Gulf within 10 minutes of setting sail.

Auckland Moorings with Hauraki Gulf Access
Brooklands Boat Club is located at 500 North Road, Clevedon, Auckland. Situated approximately 1.5km (0.8Nm) from the river mouth so at 5Nm/hr you can be cruising in the Hauraki Gulf within 10 minutes of setting sail.
Member Facilities and Benefits
Security - Security is excellent. Traffic on the river is relatively low and there is ample hardstand area to park vehicles. Vehicles are very safe as they are 1.2km off the main road which has automated security gates (these can be opened by members mobile phones).
Berths - The Club has a consent for up to 118 Pile Moorings which are being installed as demand requires. We can cater for both monohull and multihull vessels up to 29m in length. You can find out more about Auckland Moorings from Auckland Transport.
Pontoons - An easy 90m walk on pontoon for loading & unloading. Work births can also be booked at the end of the Pontoon.
Dinghy Lockers - Enjoy covered dinghy lockers are available for all members.
Washdown Water - There is washdown water available on the pontoons for cleaning vessels.
Drinking Water - We have drinking water available (roof water caught onsite)
Power - Yes, power is available onsite for boat maintenance purposes
Haul Out - The club has haul out facilities available for members. See our haul out fees.
Boat Storage - Hardstand boat storage is available for the storage of large vessels. We also have trailer boat storage too.
Location - You can find us by car 30 mins from Auckland CBD and 35 mins from Pokeno.
